You’ll find below our tips for seamless rentals:
1) Adjust your Access & Return instructions and set up a charging time
If your car has a reserved parking space with a dedicated charging point, make sure you specify it in your listing to attract drivers! They’ll be reminded to plug the car when returning it.
When editing your car’s listing, you’ll find the charging feature under the “your conditions” section. Your car will be set as “unavailable” during this specific charging time so it can properly recharge before your next rental.
To maximise this feature’s efficiency, we recommend that you use it in combination with a dedicated charging point. This will help you ensure your car is actually charging between rentals.
2) Provide drivers with a handy guide!
Make sure you share enough information with drivers for them to enjoy renting your electric car:
Indicate available charging stations in your area
Explain how to plug & unplug your car
Include information on how to start charging if needed (e.g. if a badge or card is needed, explain how to use it and where to find it)
Describe how to know if the car is charging (e.g. is there an indicator on the dashboard or near the vehicle inlet? Can you tell by the status lights on the charger?)
Indicate your car’s range in its description
We recommend being as realistic as possible to set reasonable expectations for drivers and to help them plan the perfect trip.
