So how do we do it?
Every driver that wants to book a Getaround Connect car needs to go through a comprehensive verification process. First, we'll ask them to scan their licence and identification documents. They will then film themselves according to our instructions. Our software scans their face and verifies that it matches the documents they provided - to ensure they are who they say they are.
If our AI-powered algorithm can't make a definitive conclusion, our team will do a manual review of the driver's documents and face scan.
Good to know: Drivers that have received negative reviews won't be able to book Getaround Connect cars.
